The Grado Sonata4 is a Timbre Series phono cartridge housed in Mediterranean Olive wood, delivering a refined balance of resolution, control, and musicality. It pairs an elliptical diamond stylus with a specially developed aluminum cantilever for a presentation that reveals the tonal character and texture of a recording. Built around Grado’s patented flux-bridger moving iron design, the Sonata4 uses a 6N OCC copper internal signal path with cryogenic treatment and internal damping. The result is a smooth treble, present midrange with natural texture, and controlled bass with definition and weight.
