Q Acoustics 3010i Compact Bookshelf Speakers(pair)

Boasting room-filling sound, the Q 3010i speakers deliver despite their compact size, with their 100mm / 4″ and 22mm/ 0.9″ precision drivers. Focussing on power-to-size ratio, the crossover has been revised to take advantage of a larger cabinet volume as to enhance sensitivity and bass extension. Our Q 3010i speakers are slim-line, and can be shelf-mounted on compliant & pre-fitted rubber feet, stand-mounted or wall-mounted on optional, dedicated brackets and stands.

The Q Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing across the 3000i series supports the parts of the enclosure that need to be stiffened making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid. This improves the focus of the stereo image and giving the soundstage more accuracy than ever before.

Maintaining the same acoustically optimal front profile, the 3010i’s have been made slightly taller and 25% deeper than previous models, this increased internal volume has extended the low frequency response from the ported design so they belie their diminutive stature with an impressively large-scale sound.

The 3010i tweeters are decoupled from the baffle via a compliant suspension system, so vibrations from the woofer which can impair the performance of the tweeter, are now isolated allowing the tweeter to perform with dramatically reduced interference. Further the cone is precision formed from impregnated and coated paper and teamed with a newly developed rubber surround. A coated paper cone provides the optimum balance between stiffness and self- damping, meaning it can accelerate without flexing and stop very accurately without unwanted resonances.

The conventional terminal panel cut-outs have been removed, greatly improved structural integrity to the enclosures and new low profile binding posts with sockets deep enough to accept 4mm / 0.16″ banana plugs, so the speaker can be positioned very close to a rear wall. Not only does the entire 3000i range features all new enclosure aesthetics but all are finished with a chrome bezel around each driver and feature magnetic speaker grilles.
