The Eversolo DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 is a sophisticated all-in-one digital source designed to become the heart of a high-performance two-channel audio system. Combining a high-end music streamer, reference-quality DAC, CD player and ripper, analog preamplifier, and advanced room-correction capabilities in a beautifully engineered chassis, the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 delivers exceptional flexibility without compromising sound quality.

At its core is a flagship AKM AK4191EQ + AK4499EXEQ DAC architecture, paired with Eversolo’s AuralEngine, high-performance analog circuitry and a precision R-2R analog volume control. The result is exceptionally low distortion, a wide dynamic range and precise, natural reproduction.

The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 supports high-resolution playback up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32-bit, while its proprietary EOS Audio Engine provides a direct bit-perfect signal path that bypasses Android’s standard sample-rate conversion limitations.

A Complete Digital Music Hub

The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 provides access to an extensive range of streaming services, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, HIGHRESAUDIO, TuneIn and more. It also supports Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA/UPnP and Network Audio Adapter for flexible network playback.

For locally stored music, the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 supports SMB, NFS and WebDAV network protocols, making it easy to access music stored on NAS devices, network computers and private cloud storage.

An integrated M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD slot supports storage expansion of up to 8TB, allowing your music collection to reside directly inside the player. The SSD is optional and not included.

Reference-Grade DAC & Analog Preamplifier

The carefully engineered DAC section uses separate AK4191EQ digital processing and AK4499EXEQ D/A conversion, with Eversolo’s AuralEngine audio processing and OPA1612 operational amplifiers.

The fully balanced analog preamplifier section includes both XLR and RCA inputs, while balanced XLR and RCA outputs provide flexible integration with power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers and active speakers.

The high-precision R-2R resistor-ladder volume control operates in the analog domain, helping preserve dynamics and musical detail across the volume range.

Built-In CD Playback & Ripping

The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 includes a custom CD playback system designed specifically for high-quality audio applications. Intelligent error correction and compensation help ensure accurate playback and ripping, while automatic retrieval of album artwork, track information and metadata makes building a digital music library simple.

evotune™ PRO Room Correction

One of the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2’s standout features is evotune™ PRO room correction.

The system analyzes the acoustic behaviour of your listening environment and uses DRC-based modelling and FIR filtering to address frequency, timing and spatial information. Users can create customized correction filters using either a compatible USB measurement microphone or a smartphone microphone.
