Magnetar Ultima Reference Universal Disc 4K UHD Transport

The Magnetar Ultima Reference Universal Transport brings 4K UHD Blu-ray, SACD, DVD-Audio and high-resolution file playback together in a single source component. Designed for dedicated home cinemas and two-channel listening rooms, the Ultima pairs with an external AV processor or DAC.

One transport for discs and digital files

Play 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, CD, SACD and DVD-Audio, or access digital music and video from USB storage and compatible network sources. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support cover both dynamic HDR formats, while AES/EBU supports DSD over PCM (DoP) for compatible external DACs.

Dedicated lithium-based DC power stages

Magnetar uses dedicated BYD lithium-based DC power stages to isolate critical transport, clocking and signal circuits from electrical noise and power fluctuations. Controlled grounding and power distribution help limit interference between internal subsystems.

Unified 10 MHz master clock

A single 10 MHz reference synchronizes timing across the Ultima. The clock architecture is designed to reduce phase noise and maintain consistent signal timing as the transport passes digital audio and video to downstream components.

Reinforced chassis and refined disc mechanism

The reinforced chassis is designed to reduce vibration and resonance during playback. Internally isolated components help protect sensitive circuitry from interference, while the refined disc mechanism is engineered for stable, consistent disc reading.
