Kimber Kable KS6065 Speaker Cables (Pair)

The Kimber KS 6065 is a delicate balance of 2/3 copper and 1/3 pure silver utilizing both VariStrand and solid core conductors. This synergistic blend of metallurgy and conductor design strikes a keen balance between detail, transparency and a natural tonal presentation. The 6065 will maintain complete dynamic control over your loudspeaker while preserving balance within the audio spectrum.

The Select family of speaker cables have three variations of conductor type, using either pure copper – the KS-6063, a mix of pure copper and pure silver conductors as seen in the KS-6065 and all-silver conductors seen in the flagship KS-6068 speaker cables.

The Select series are Kimber’s top-of-the range speaker cables. Using an improved spaced-and-damped construction over the Monocle and Carbon 18XL cables, they produce an even more effective, complex weave.

Starting with metals electrolytically refined to a purity of 99.995%, the near absence of oxygen results in optimum conductivity and material integrity in respect to oxidation and degradation.

Inside KS 6065

In addition to the highly refined, pure materials, KS-6065 uses a mix of pure Copper and Silver conductors for the ultimate ‘reference’ performance.

KS 6065 comprises of 8, 24 AWG solid core OFE copper conductors and 4, 24 AWG solid core OFE silver conductors braided around a geometry stabilizing core and then a further 8 copper 19AWG and 4 19AWG silver conductor are woven around the outer stabilizing yarn

The core functions to dampen vibrations. The conductors are further stabilized and protected by a layer of woven yarn. The final layer is composed of VariStrand copper and silver. This layer is also carefully woven with fabric yarn to provide mechanical stability and mitigation of vibrations.
