• Massive 19 AWG Conductors: Most HDMI cables use very thin 28 or 30 AWG wire to remain flexible. The “19” in HD19e refers to its heavy 19-gauge internal wiring. This significantly reduces electrical resistance, making it one of the most reliable passive (non-active) HDMI cables for longer runs.

• Silver-Plated Copper (Ag-Cu): High-frequency digital signals travel primarily on the outside “skin” of a conductor (the Skin Effect). Kimber plates their high-purity copper with pure silver, which has the highest conductivity of any metal. This ensures the sharpest possible “edges” on the digital square waves, drastically reducing jitter and data errors.

• Nitrogen-Injected Dielectric: The insulation around the conductors is a high-density Polyethylene (PE) injected with nitrogen to create tiny air bubbles. This “foamed” insulation reduces capacitance and helps the cable maintain a perfect 100-ohm impedance, which is critical for preventing signal reflections.

• Triple-Layer Shielding: To protect your 4K/8K signal from the “noise” generated by Wi-Fi routers, power cables, and other electronics, the HD19e features two layers of foil and a high-density tinned copper braid. This creates a “blacker” background for both audio and video.
