The Grado Platinum4 is a Timbre Series phono cartridge housed in Mediterranean Olive wood, offering a balanced and accessible entry into Grado’s wood-body designs. It pairs an elliptical diamond stylus with an aluminum cantilever for a musical, engaging presentation with clear detail and controlled dynamics. Built around Grado’s patented flux-bridger moving iron design, the Platinum4 uses 6N OCC copper internal wiring with cryogenic treatment and internal damping. The olive wood housing contributes warmth and body to the sound, while the moving iron system ensures consistent, reliable signal transmission.
