The Naim UnitiServe was designed to bring the convenience of a dedicated music server together with Naim’s uncompromising approach to digital audio.

Rather than simply playing a CD when it is inserted, the UnitiServe can rip and store your CDs for future playback, automatically cataloguing your music by artist, album and track. Once your collection is stored, finding and playing your music becomes remarkably simple.

Naim designed the UnitiServe to deliver much of the functionality of its acclaimed HDX music server in a more compact chassis. It can serve music to compatible Naim network players and other UPnP-compatible devices, making it a versatile addition to a dedicated digital music system.

Bit-Perfect CD Ripping

The UnitiServe is designed to accurately extract the digital information from your CDs and store it on its internal hard drive. Music can be stored in lossless formats including WAV and FLAC, allowing your CD collection to be preserved without sacrificing audio quality.

Naim’s server architecture also automatically retrieves CD metadata, making a large music collection considerably easier to browse and navigate.

High-Resolution Music Support

In addition to CD-quality music, the UnitiServe supports high-resolution audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz. Supported formats include:

Digital output is provided via 75-ohm BNC and TOSLINK, allowing the UnitiServe to be connected to a suitable DAC or digital input on compatible equipment.
