Solid-State Performance
Mini Terra Prime features 8TB internal solid-state storage, enough to store approximately 125 high-bitrate Kaleidescape 4K movies. Movies download in as little as 4 minutes over a 2.5 gigabit Ethernet connection. Mini Terra Prime supports up to 25 simultaneous playbacks, and up to four servers can be grouped together in a system for more storage.

Custom Installation
Mini Terra Prime can be tucked behind a TV or placed on a shelf, as long as you provide a minimum of 0.25in clearance on top for convection cooling. For a more customized installation, official Kaleidescape rack shelves and wall mount solutions are available.

Downloaded, Not Streamed
Movie bitrates up to 100 Mbps. Kaleidescape movies are high bitrate and downloaded to local storage for uninterrupted, flawless playback. There is never buffering or degradation, unlike streaming services that are limited by internet infrastructure.
Kaleidescape movies are also unconstrained by file size limits, enabling our content team to maximize the video quality transcoded from studio mezzanine files, unlike Blu-ray discs that have a maximum file size limit.
Standalone
Kaleidescape’s entry-level 4K movie player. When standalone, Strato E stores about a half-dozen high-bitrate movies on an internal, solid-state drive. Strato E features the same streamlined interface as Strato V and Strato M, optimized for navigating a small movie library.
Strato E can download a Kaleidescape movie in minutes over gigabit Ethernet. Downloads become a candidate for automatic deletion 48 hours after playback, making room for more movies. Purchased movies can be re-downloaded at any time.
Scalable
An investment that grows with you. Want room for more movies or players in additional rooms? Unlock the full Kaleidescape experience by grouping Strato with Terra Prime movie servers. Add Strato V or Strato E to primary viewing areas and Strato M to ancillary spaces, like kitchens or bedrooms. Any number of Strato movie players can be grouped into a system, with up to four servers per system.
Grouping with a server activates the iconic Kaleidescape covers view and list menus for navigating large movie libraries. It also unlocks Kaleidescape’s parental control settings and proprietary child remote, for a customizable family-friendly experience.
