The Digital Drive Plus series represents Velodyne’s most advanced approach to subwoofer design, combining digitally controlled drivers, extensive adjustment capabilities and sophisticated room calibration. The driver’s diaphragm is digitally monitored at an impressive 16,000 samples per second, helping maintain precise control over the driver’s movement and delivering clean, articulate bass.

Powerful Amplification & Advanced Driver Technology

The Digital Drive 15 Plus features a 1,250-watt RMS Class D amplifier capable of 3,000 watts of dynamic power, providing substantial headroom for demanding music and movie soundtracks.

Its 15-inch driver incorporates a six-layer, 75 mm voice coil and a fiberglass Rohacell laminate cone, providing the strength and control required for high-output, low-distortion bass reproduction.

Precision Room Calibration

A major strength of the Digital Drive Plus platform is its sophisticated digital calibration system. High-precision automatic calibration allows the subwoofer to be integrated into the listening environment with extensive adjustment options available for fine-tuning.

The Digital Drive 15 Plus provides adjustable crossover, phase and polarity settings, along with software connectivity for more advanced system optimization. This makes it possible to achieve a much more seamless transition between the subwoofer and the main speakers.

With an overall frequency response extending from 9.0 Hz to 300 Hz, the Digital Drive 15 Plus reaches well into the deepest bass frequencies found in today’s music and movie soundtracks. Its 14.6–120 Hz response within ±3 dB provides a broad operating range while maintaining the control and precision expected from a high-end subwoofer.

Extensive connectivity further enhances its versatility, with RCA and balanced XLR inputs, speaker-level inputs, line-level pass-through outputs and high-pass outputs. The Digital Drive 15 Plus can therefore be integrated into a wide range of two-channel and home theatre systems.
