The Grado GS1000 is an open-back headphone built around a full mahogany housing, selected for its warmth, tonal richness, and natural resonance characteristics. The GS1000 delivers a spacious, immersive presentation with natural detail and a wide soundstage.

At its core is a 50mm X2 dynamic driver featuring a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and rare earth magnetic system engineered for efficiency and dynamic control. As part of the Classic Series, the GS1000 incorporates Grado’s X2 driver platform — delivering improved clarity, extension, and balance across the frequency range.

The GS1000 features Grado’s Signature Gold headband assembly with engraved aluminum gimbals, stainless steel rods, reinforced aluminum junction blocks, and a genuine leather headstrap with white stitching and internal steel spring. Paired with a Signature Silver cable and G Cushions — the largest in the lineup — which expand perceived width and dimensionality. Assembled in Brooklyn, New York.
