Immerse yourself in powerful, evenly distributed lows with support up to four subwoofers. Standard mode blends all subwoofers to smooth output across the room for consistent impact at every seat. You won’t hear audible peaks or dips—just deep, room-filling bass. Directional mode associates bass effects more closely with onscreen action, helping low frequency energy feel intentional and controlled without overwhelming the room.

Advanced room correction and system optimization

The AVR-X3900H includes a built-in suite of Audyssey room correction tools, including MultEQ XT32, Sub EQ HT, Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, and Low Frequency Containment (LFC), to align speaker levels, timing, and tonal balance for clear dialogue and cohesive surround performance. For more precise system tuning, the AVR-X3900H offers an optional upgrade to Dirac Live tools including Room Correction, Bass Control, and Active Room Treatment.
