The D8is is in its own class. The D8is calls upon all of Perlisten’s work over the past decade to create yet another level of fidelity. Push-Pull, of course, for the ultimate in linearity, dynamics and power all at the lowest levels of distortion. Utilizing a unique array of (8)215mm or 8.5” drivers. The new woofer array accomplishes mechanical force cancelling. With each side of the woofer array acoustically ‘in phase’ and mechanically ‘out of phase’. The force of each driver’s motion cancels the force of its opposing complement. This all results in a dramatic reduction of cabinet vibrations at all frequencies. We have incorporated a proprietary, versatile vibration isolation mounting solution – In-Room, In-Wall or On-Wall, we have thought about all applications as well as creating a superb solution for Waveforming. Driven by our DSP3000A 3kW amplifier and custom DSP, now with the addition of a digital input. Housed in a hybrid aluminum/steel chassis and front facing 2.8” color touchscreen, the amp can be conveniently located on display in-room or hidden away in a separate room with other rack mounted components.
