The Velodyne Digital Drive 12 Plus combines a high-performance 12-inch driver, powerful Class D amplification and sophisticated digital room calibration to deliver deep, controlled and exceptionally precise bass. Designed for both serious two-channel listening and demanding home theatre systems, the Digital Drive 12 Plus provides impressive low-frequency extension while offering the level of control and adjustability expected from a high-end subwoofer.

At the heart of the Digital Drive Plus series is Velodyne’s advanced digital diaphragm control, monitoring driver movement at 16,000 samples per second. Combined with high-precision automatic calibration and extensive setup options, this technology allows the subwoofer to deliver tight, accurate bass while helping it integrate seamlessly with the rest of your system.

Powerful Amplification & Advanced Driver Technology

The Digital Drive 12 Plus uses a 1,250-watt RMS Class D amplifier capable of 3,000 watts of dynamic power, providing substantial headroom for powerful musical passages and explosive home theatre effects.

Its 12-inch forward-firing driver features a six-layer, 65 mm voice coil and a fiberglass Rohacell laminate cone, combining strength, low mass and precise driver control. The result is deep bass with the speed and definition needed for both music and movies.

Precision Digital Room Calibration

One of the defining features of the Digital Drive Plus series is its sophisticated digital calibration system. High-precision automatic calibration helps optimize the subwoofer’s response in the listening environment, while software connectivity provides additional tools for advanced fine-tuning.

The Digital Drive 12 Plus offers adjustable crossover, phase and polarity settings, allowing it to be carefully integrated with virtually any loudspeaker or home theatre system. Velodyne’s Auto-EQ PLUS system can also adjust multiple parameters during optimization, including level, crossover, slope and phase.

Designed for Music & Home Theatre

With an overall frequency response extending from 10.2 Hz to 300 Hz, the Digital Drive 12 Plus reaches deep into the lowest frequencies found in music and movie soundtracks. Its 17–120 Hz response within ±3 dB provides a broad operating range while maintaining the precision and control expected from a premium subwoofer.

Extensive connectivity makes the Digital Drive 12 Plus highly versatile. It includes RCA and balanced XLR inputs, speaker-level inputs, line-level pass-through outputs and high-pass outputs, allowing it to be integrated into a wide range of two-channel and home theatre systems.
