The Velodyne Digital Drive 18 Plus is a flagship-level powered subwoofer engineered for listeners who demand extraordinary low-frequency extension, output, and precision. Combining an enormous 18-inch forward-firing driver with a powerful Class D amplifier and sophisticated digital control, the Digital Drive 18 Plus is designed to deliver deep, accurate bass while maintaining exceptional control.
At the heart of the Digital Drive Plus series is Velodyne’s advanced digital diaphragm control, monitoring the driver’s movement at an incredible 16,000 samples per second. This high-speed control system works alongside the subwoofer’s automatic calibration technology to help integrate the subwoofer accurately into the listening environment.
The Digital Drive 18 Plus features a 1,250-watt RMS Class D amplifier capable of 3,000 watts of dynamic power, providing the headroom necessary for both demanding music and high-impact home theatre. Its 18-inch driver incorporates a six-layer, 75 mm voice coil and fiberglass Rohacell laminate cone for a combination of rigidity, low mass, and powerful motor control.

The Digital Drive 18 Plus is far more than simply a large subwoofer. Its digital control and calibration system provides extensive adjustment capabilities, allowing the subwoofer to be precisely integrated with the rest of your system.
The automatic calibration system can be used to optimize the subwoofer’s response in the listening environment, while software connectivity provides additional tools for fine adjustment. Phase, polarity, crossover frequency and other parameters can be precisely configured to suit the system and room.

With an overall frequency response extending from 8.8 Hz to 300 Hz, the Digital Drive 18 Plus is capable of reproducing the deepest frequencies in movie soundtracks and music recordings. Its sealed enclosure and high-output amplifier provide the foundation for powerful, controlled bass without sacrificing the precision expected from a high-end audio system.
The extensive connectivity also makes the Digital Drive 18 Plus exceptionally versatile. It offers RCA and balanced XLR inputs, speaker-level inputs, line-level pass-through outputs, and high-pass outputs, allowing it to be integrated into a wide variety of two-channel and home theatre systems.
