The ToneWinner AT-500 is a powerful 16-channel AV processor designed for dedicated home theaters and private cinemas, delivering immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X processing alongside advanced 8K HDMI 2.1 video connectivity.
With support for speaker configurations up to 7.3.6 or 9.3.4, balanced XLR outputs, 40Gbps HDMI 2.1 connectivity, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, automatic room calibration and extensive professional-integration capabilities, the AT-500 offers the processing power and flexibility needed for a sophisticated immersive theater system.
At the same time, its audiophile-oriented Cirrus Logic CS42528 DAC and dedicated Analog Devices dual-core DSP allow the AT-500 to serve as a high-quality music and cinema processor in a complete high-end system.
Immersive Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Processing
The AT-500 supports the major immersive cinema formats, including:
- Dolby Atmos
- Dolby TrueHD
- Dolby Digital and legacy Dolby formats
- DTS:X
- DTS-HD Master Audio
- Legacy DTS formats
With 16 channels of processing, the AT-500 can support sophisticated immersive layouts with multiple overhead and surround channels.
The processor supports configurations ranging from conventional 2.0 and 5.1 systems through 7.1, 7.1.4, 7.1.6, 9.1.4, 7.3.6 and 9.3.4 installations.
8K HDMI 2.1 Connectivity
The AT-500 is built for modern home theaters with HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3, supporting up to 40Gbps of bandwidth.
Its HDMI section supports:
- 8K Ultra HD
- YUV 4:4:4
- Dolby Vision
- HDR10+
- HDR10
- HLG
- HDMI eARC
- HDMI CEC
There are six HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs, with HDMI inputs 1–3 supporting 8K signals.
This makes the AT-500 well suited to systems incorporating 8K displays, projectors, gaming consoles, UHD Blu-ray players and modern streaming devices.
Flexible Balanced & Unbalanced Outputs
One of the AT-500’s biggest advantages is its flexible output architecture.
The fully balanced XLR outputs can support immersive configurations up to 7.1.6 / 9.1.4.
The unbalanced outputs extend system flexibility to 7.3.6 / 9.3.4.
For multi-subwoofer installations, the processor provides:
- 1 × balanced XLR subwoofer output
- 2 × unbalanced RCA subwoofer outputs
This makes the AT-500 particularly attractive for dedicated theaters incorporating multiple subwoofers and separate power amplification.
Audiophile-Grade Digital Processing
The AT-500 incorporates a Cirrus Logic CS42528 DAC for high-quality digital-to-analog conversion, paired with a dual-core Analog Devices DSP for advanced audio processing.
The processor delivers a specified signal-to-noise ratio of ≥110dB, THD of ≤0.004%, and a frequency response of 10Hz–65kHz in Analog Pure Mode.
This combination makes the AT-500 suitable not only for movie soundtracks but also for high-quality music playback.
Automatic Room Calibration
Getting the most from a theater requires more than simply connecting the speakers. The AT-500 includes one-button automatic EQ calibration designed to compensate for speaker distance, delay and sound-pressure levels.
After automatic calibration, users can make additional manual adjustments to fine-tune the system.
The AT-500 provides 5- to 11-band parametric EQ per channel, along with independent EQ and volume settings for individual inputs.
An adjustable lip-sync delay of up to 1000ms is also provided for precise synchronization between audio and video.
Built-In Music Player
The AT-500 isn’t limited to home theater duties. Its integrated music player can play files directly from TF cards and USB storage devices.
Supported formats include:
- FLAC
- APE
- WAV
- MP3
The built-in player supports multi-folder organization, while music information can be displayed on connected mobile devices and television screens.
Extensive Connectivity
The AT-500 offers a comprehensive selection of inputs and outputs for both home theater and custom installations.

Professional Home Theater Integration
The AT-500 includes RS-232 control for integration with professional home automation and theater-control systems.
It also supports HDMI eARC and CEC, while an AV matrix subgroup output provides additional flexibility for complex installations.
Control is available through the dedicated app, IR remote and wireless remote.
Dual Front-Panel Displays
Two 2.8-inch front-panel displays provide real-time system information and settings at a glance.
This allows users to monitor and adjust the processor without necessarily turning on the projector or display.
The on-screen display is available in English and Chinese.
